I Think Its Time For a New Look…
I have made some occasional changes to the look of this blog over the last couple of years, but I think it is time to upgrade to a better template…one that has a little more functionality. I have noticed that my blog has been loading really slowly for a while now, and that is probably due to putting too much stuff on it, at least in one file (the sidebar). So, I think I am going to look for theme that is a little more functional.
I am definitely going to go with something that has at least 3 columns. I like the wide look, rather than a narrow one, so I am hoping I can find something that will let me work with the width of the text area. Some of the newer themes are a little harder for us novices to work with.
Anyway, I tell you all this so that if you pop in, and things look a bit different, you will know what is going on. Hopefully, it won’t take me too long to get everything all set up, and everything functioning properly again.
I may also weed out some of the links from my blog roll. I find I don’t read all of the blogs, and I don’t think they all read this blog either. Hopefully, these changes will make for a better reading experience here. Thanks for dropping in! Come back soon to see what’s new!

I have noticed that the blog seems to be taking longer to load. Digg seems to be the culprit, at least for my computer. A change is always good. I’ll be interested to see what you decide to do.

Kris – I find it useful to constantly review my blog’s appearance and the quality of the information available to my readers. I have updated mine so often that I also feel that I was becoming obsessed with the functionality of what it offered.
Anyway, good luck on the changes you implement. I visit most every day and enjoy your posts. Hope I am not one of the links you want to take down.
